Excellent versatile Klon-style drive/boost

I use it in several ways; to push my guitar tubeamp into breakup; to equalize my tone; to warm up and boost my synth; and for drive-stacking, running an EHX Big Muff or Proco Rat 2 into it, it's great for adding some mids to Muffs. Also I use it for clean playing. Everything just sounds better through this pedal, so I have it on most of the time. Also, the print and gold finish looks classy. I used the EHX Soul Food before this, and this sounds much better, fuller, not so nasal, and has more options to sculpt your tone, so you can add more drive or bass if you need it. Build quality seems solid all around, and I love that it has top-mounted jacks to save space. Also, it has a small footprint compared to most Clones. My only minor complaint is that the switch for buffered or true bypass is on the side of the pedal, which isn't good if this is placed tight against another pedal on your board. Apart from that a great product from mr. Wampler

KLON but for mortals ;)

this is one of my favorite pedals of all time
it is the KLON sound but with extra tweakability, very nice tones (all kinds)

Pros:
KLON sound but waaaaay cheaper
built in buffer (on/off toggle)

NOTE: ONLY 9V, but it has a built in stepup so it goes to 21V internally!

Cons:
only 9V
more expensive than the smaller Tumnus

this is THE pedal to get in your pedal board!

One of the best Klon style pedals

I already had two different Klon style pedals, but they don't have a EQ. That's where the Tumnes Deluxe comes in!

First of all: it can sound pretty much identical to the other Klon style pedals, the trick is to cut some bass (at noon there will be much more bass than with stock Klon style pedals) and let it have some mids and treble. But of course it can do much much more than a default Klon pedal. It can even do semi high gain stuff with the added control. Long story short: sound wise it's great.

The quality is superb. The foot switch especially stands out with a great feel. Another great feature is the input and output placed on the back of the pedal. For real, more pedal makers should do this, it saves much needed space on pedal boards. Mine came with a empty battery though (worked for only a few minutes before dying). I'll subtract some points for this.
