Great Sounding Pickup
Bought for an old Squier that I wanted to get going again and I've not been disappointed!
Has a great output and a really nice crisp clarity when driven hard but cleans up really nicely. 4 Wires meant I could try different wiring configurations and with coil splitting this pickup sounds just as good as my American Strat in a very cheap body.

I can understand why this pickup is so popular
I bought this pickup to upgrade my friend's s-s-s stratocaster. Luckily, the guitar was already routed for h-s-h so no drilling, just put a new pickguard, a bit of soldering (500k volume and tone pots) and it's done.
The sound is quite mid to high mid heavy and cuts through nicely, maybe lacking a bit of bottom end for my tastes. Oh yes, the stock single coils now sound a bit wimpy compared to the humbucker; I will spend some time adjusting pickup heights in order to even out the volumes. Overall, a solid upgrade.

Improvement for Epiphone LP Standard
Use:
replaced my stock bridge pickup on captioned guitar
mainly use with Line 6 HX Stomp / Helix Native plugin
Pro:
pick attack is much more apparent, guitar solo is clearer in a dense rock mix context, compared to the stock pickup, the JB is less dull
Con:
I dont have any issues/regrets at all with this pickup

Excellent in a Strat, bridge position
I bought this to replace a Suhr humbucker that died in an 1989 USA Stratocaster. Installation was easy following the provided diagram. Sound was as expected from this setup. Also of note is that it blends nicely with the middle and neck single coils (both Suhr V60s). No complaints whatsoever.

Great pick up, makes a cheap guitar scream
There are many different pick ups and I had a cheaper electric guitar that I wanted to sound more like a Les Paul. I did not know what to look for but the staff at the Thomann shop in Germany knew what I needed and I got what I was looking for. So ones again I want to give the most credit to the great personal service at Thomann and of course it is a great microphone that makes a cheap guitar sound like a million dollars.
