Great for the price
Looks high quality, plays pretty nice.
Doesn't cost much at all in the grand scheme of things.
Has many points of adjustment.
Chain retaining lug/plate on the underside of the beater cam gets loose from time to time, it'll rattle and have side to side play if so, could do with some thread lock.
Some sideways play at the heel end as the footplate is fixed with compression rivets which aren't adjustable or repairable so some long term quality concerns there if it continues to get worse.
Spring tensioner retaining mechanism is plastic housed so will strip if you keep trying to tighten it up beyond the point of knowing what you are doing so just be aware of that.
Lug where you might fit a normal toe stop is basically fake so be aware you'll not get one of those on it.

Great Budget Pedal
I bought this in December 2022 and so far, I love this pedal.
I'd like to say that I am not a professional drummer, so I don't want to influence y'alls choice.
But if you are an amateur drummer like me and have tried other entrance pedals, I think this one is a great option.
It's rebound is nice and smooth in the foot, it's not heavy to play with it and the material seem better than others at the same price.

Very satisfied
I am very satisfied with tis drum pedal! I bought this one (chain version) and it's brother (link/ direct drive version) at the same time to try out... I had to send the direct drive version back to Thomann (Thanks for letting me try it, and accepting the return without ANY issues!)
The chain version is perfect for me... easy to adjust, heavy and solid, screws onto my (electronic) kick drum nicely! Very handy to have the 2 side beater.
I feel the pedal is built to last, and the double chain seems very solid.
(My Pearl pedal has come "wiggle" - this does not! ...at all!)
I'm very satisfied! ...and it didn't take much setting up out of the box!
Highly recommended!

Solid & Beefy
Great entry-Mid level product.
+Many adustable features
+Solid construction, will stand up to heavy gigging
+Great for powerful playing
+Good value
- Quite heavy
- Not as good for finesse due to weight of components.
Reccomended for anyone new, or want to upgrade their entry level pedal. Or to have as a spare.

Maximum bang for the buck
This drum is part of a Millennium set that I am building and we use it for playing in the house or in a log cabin. From the back i.e. when playing it it sounds fine enough - sort of subdued. When playing the guitar in front of it it does light up the whole band - wonderful sound - surprising how little of input you need from it to give the band a real lift.
You have to assemble it but there was no instructions and then tune it a bit - but where better to learn how to fiddle around with it than on a drum of this price. My music teacher showed me how to hit with a standard drum stick against the skin next to each tensioner to hear the sound and surprisingly only one was out after I assembled it - just a bit too tight and high - the rest were all fine. It is easy enough to put together and light enough to lift.
The pedal I have has a longish arm so the striker hits just above the middle.
Overall I would say a lot of fun for money - plenty of 'bang' for the 'buck' spent.

Unbeatable (geddit?) value.
Replaced a crappy old drum pedal i had, exceeded expectation as far as build quality goes.
The reviews i had already read pretty much informed my buying decision and to be fair they were spot on.
Drums are not my main instrument but i found the pedal responsive, easy to set up and very much fit for purpose.
If you are playing full time then this would make an excellent back up or main pedal. It feels built to last.
Well worth the money!!

Suitable for beginners.
The pedal is good and made of high quality metal, but there are notches and notches on the board, which strongly brakes the sole of the shoe. It is very difficult to slip with the foot.

The surface of the pedal could be smoother. Beater foundation could be little stronger. Overall, best for beginner.

Loud pedal, side noises are annoying
The pedal is impossible to put in a good position. There are a lot of cranking and sqeeking side noises. It is difficult to understand that Thomann sells an expensive drum set as the Alesis Strike Pro kit with these pedals. I will have to replace these. A real waste of money.
