Does the job
Works well as a broadband absorber!
Pros:
Great price/quality.
Cons:
Not aesthetically high end but you can live with it.
For those complaining about low frequencies and soundproofing, get your act together - This is not a bass trap and you won't be able to soundproof a room simply by slapping stuff on the walls.

Great For home studios
Not for sound proofing!
So i bought 2 sheets of this to make a microphone shield and some other stuff. I ended up having a spare sheet so i put it up on the wall which looks great and is quite useful.
Before i built the mic shield i put my amp into a box and padded up the inside of the box with the foam and tracked some guitar. It work well stopping reflections and minimizing outside noise.
I also tracked some vocals with a sheet up on the wall and the mic in front on the foam, which also work extremely well to my ears with no audible reflections.
I then tested the frequency response of my vocal microphone without any foam in the room and then the foam in front of the the microphone.
My results were almost identical form 0hz to 15khz.
This foam is mostly useful for targeting to those higher frequencies. If your looking for something to kill room modes or sound proofing, look else where.
If you are looking for something to use in an isolation box or a cool decoration or to dampen reflections this is a good starting point.

Surprisingly efficient damping!
Honestly I didn't expect much, but they were cheap and I figured they at least wouldn't make the acoustic properties of my smallish home studio any worse. In parallel with purchasing these panels, I built myself a couple of large corner basstraps using heavy rockwool, and I did quite a bit of testing to find the best placement on walls and ceiling. Combined the acoustic treatment of my studio has done wonders, and the previous nasty echoes are gone. We now use the studio for band rehearsals, recording and mixing, and the sound is a lot more balanced than it used to be. Even drum recordings sound sound pretty darn good!
One warning: They are somewhat delicate and will rip when abused!

Cheap but good quality acoustic foam!
I bought this foam to place to the sides and behind my studio monitors to try and soak up some extra bass frequencies that would collect in my room.
At under £8 a tile (which is a meter long!) it was well worth the money. When i opened the package I was surprised to find out how thick the foam was, the t.akustik panels are some of the best around for their price!
once up on my walls (using sticky backed Velcro - I recommend the EQ Acoustics one that can be purchased here) there was a very noticeable difference. £8 for better frequency response in my room is amazing!

the t.akustik HiLo-P80
very good product for this price range ! the disturbing reflections of sound have disappeared , I combine P-80 / N40 / N70 and i am very happy from the result : no dead room but no disturbing reflections .
I don't recomend this for fix the tone of your room ,doesn't work , contrary there is a chance to do damage to your tone if you overuse them . Only a few to the right spot of the room are enough.
good construction !
If you want .. with a scissor you can make different shapes , the enticing price allows experimentation for a beauty result on your walls.
By the way there is no smell at all !

Great steal, serves it purpose!
I bought this for my home studio to compliment my custom made rockwool panels in areas of the room where I couldn't attach a normal rockwool panel, and this does a great job of preventing any reflections (mid-high frequencies) coming from that area.
t.akustic has some really low-cost and purposeful acoustic foam that has been crucial for my rented apartment - home studio setup.
