I bought these originally to be used side by side with Sennheiser HD-25s for reference and tracking at my project studio.
The sound is clean, clear, and the headphones sound somewhat "flat", meaning that it does not flatter or colour the source material in any audible way. If the source is crap, it will sound crap. If the source is good, it will sound good through these. If you are looking for bombastic low-end mayhem, these are not for you. For what I bought them for (reference and tracking), they were doing their job.
The headphones are surprisingly light for their size and sit comfortably.
The design is such that the input jack into the headphones is detachable, and is attached underneath the left speaker, and this is all good and well. However, the wiring from the left speaker side to the right side is "hidden" inside the headphone chassis.
The right speaker started occasionally losing signal after 6 weeks of light use and it went completely MUTE after about 8 weeks. Because of the wiring is routed inside the headphones, it is pretty much impossible to fix these DIY. By the time of buying these, the retail asking price was well over 300 euros, and for that money I would expect better building quality. These are worth about 100 e, and that's pushing it.
