Artec Graphic EQ is one of those hidden gems you never thought you'd find.
First of all the price/quality ratio is outstanding here. With the 35¤ price tag, you wouldn't normally be expecting much, but this pedal just absolutely blew my hair back. I have previously tried BOSS' GE-7 equalizer (outstanding pedal) and after trying this Graphic EQ by Artec, honestly, I really don't think I'll be going back. Just my opinion of course, but I'm simply giving a reference here.
This pedal, like you can see from the pictures, is an 8 band EQ, so there's plenty of room to sculpt your tone to exactly what you want. It's also well built and made to last.
My *one* criticism comes from a complete and total lack of any kind of user manual. When you open the package, there's absolutely nothing there except the pedal, which I thought is very unusual. That doesn't mean this pedal is difficult to figure out or isn't playable right from the box, but some kind of documentation would be appreciated, especially if you're a beginner.
That all being said, regardless if you're just starting out with EQ pedals or are looking for something different, you can't go wrong with this. It's a worthwhile purchase, in every sense of the word, and I have big respect for Artec, for making an affordable entry for everyone interested in joining the EQ scene.
