Works, fits in the bag
Works as fingertrainer, doesn?t even allow playing any kind of chords (unless you rip of the frets).
Frets are a bit too much apart, but it doesn?t matter, no sound anyway.
Good for tecnical training, I use almost every day while having a coffe break at work!

Good fingertraining device for traveling
I was planning a 10-day vacation and I was worried that my guitar chops would degrade during this time. The Harley Benton Santos Series Fingertrainer was the only guitar-like finger trainer that I could from Thomann, and I decided to buy it.
The Santos Series Fingertrainer is designed for classical guitarists: it comes with nylon strings, wide fretboard, and even a flamenco tap plate. So, the dimensions and the feel of the device are not optimal for electric guitarists like myself.
Despite this, especially fretting hand exercises (legato, only hammer-ons, etc.) can be effectively performed on this device even by an electric guitarist. The feel is similar to exercising with an actual classical guitar. Bending and vibrato excercises cannot be recommended.
Picking hand exercises performed with a plectrum feel somewhat awkward, though. The feel is nothing like playing on an electric guitar: the strings are wide apart, the strings are much looser, and there is no way to support the forearm of my picking hand. A good tip is to tuck a pillow between your picking hand's forearm and your body to emulate the body of a guitar. The string tension can be adjusted with the tuning pegs. I would recommend to tighten the strings as much as possible to emulate the feel of a steel-string electric guitar.
The quality of the device is ok. I am a bit worried by the durability of the tuning pegs - they are very stiff and some of them produce clicking noise when adjusting string tension.
All in all, I am very happy with my purchase - I can effectively perform finger exercises, e.g., while sitting in a vehicle. The device comes with a handy bag and it fits in a small space.
