Good step up from factory strings
The sound Dominant brings is quite neutral. I found the G string's gauge a bit too big for my finger, and therefore the G string has slower response and requires more effort from the fingers ( compared to Pirastro Tonica that I now have on my violin). The strings went false pretty quickly after 2 months. I put them on in mid April 2020 and by end of July, they are just completely dead (1h practice everyday). If you want a safe choice, go with Dominant. One thing that I don't quite get is why wouldn't Thomastik make all the string threads (at the ball end) the same color? They look rainbow-like. I'd prefer matching end threads on my string to stay low-key.

Good sound! Happened to snap the E very easily, probably due to a poor quality tuner and human error but luckily I have spare strings.

Hyvä kielisarja
Ei muuta viulun omaa ääntä, joten neutraali kielisarja. E-kieli on minun makuun liian löysä, eli hankkisin sen tilalle toisenlaisen kielen.

Solid strings
I ordered this string set for the Thomann Classic violin set as a spare set, but had to install them on the next day after I got the violin, and wasn't disappointed: the sound is solid, the quality is good. Strings survived a few bar gigs and cold temperature (-25C).
