Extremely comfortable
The headphones are a different level of comfort I hadn't experienced before, I'm really glad with the purchase. The 80ohm is also great for being able to run it without an amp but having the option to.
It sounds very good and not too bass-heavy.

Best audio I've ever heard
I've been using it for more than 3 years now and it's the best headphones i've bought. There are plastic parts on both sides of the headphones that makes it the weakest spot. For me those parts are breaking after 3 years which is still great for my usage (+-10h/day)

A bit of disappointment
I got a pair of DT-770 80 Ohm as they are closed headphones and total best seller. They are very comfortable for wearing but sound is far from what I expected. A bit muddy and lots of mid and bass, feels like they are missing the high frequencies. I also got AKG K-702 (by recommendation) that are absolutly fab! If u're not looking for closed headphones in perticular u might want to consider the K-702.

Not Impressed
Read all the hype and reviews but I can honestly say they are not the best sounding headphones. Lack bottom and top frequencies. Probably best suited to tracking with their flat response. On the plus side they are well built and comfortable. Update... Maybe you just get used to them after a while or they need to be burned in, but they have grown on me and sound better than before.

The Headphone I've been Waiting For
Just to be clear why I bought this headphone after research and recommendation from the internet. I've been using a very loud amp (GTX 50) and I have never enjoyed it's features or loud sounds before getting this headphone. It's been couple of days since I had it and I've seen nothing negative about this product so far.
I'll update this if something came up, otherwise, it was a worthy purchase.

I've used this headphones in my home studio and also i have Audio Technica Ath-m50x too. I've listened many styles of music with these headphones. ?n my opinion Audio Technica is warmer, clearer and has better sounding for mix usage. For any other applications usage, Audio Technica is louder than Beyerdynamic.
I've compared these two for impedence, frequence response, comfortibility and I've tried to seek true sound for mixing. For just music listeners, Beyerdynamic can be lower sound and may need a sound card for strong voice.
I put Beyerdynamic 2.place after Audio Technica. I hope this feedback would especially be good for who is gonna think about to buy and can't decide between these headphones.

Good sound, but just not for me
After rave reviews about these headphones with a Line6 HX Stomp I decided to get a pair. Unfortunately, I could just not get used to the closed back design. It felt very oppressive, and I kept trying to pop my ears due to the pressure. Not the headphone's fault.
The sound was good, but not fantastic.
I ultimately returned it and went for a much more expensive pair, Sennheiser 650. The open back design solved the problem for me, now I can play my guitar in silence without feeling like I am deep under water :)
