Industry-standard jack with some drawbacks
It's no wonder, those Neutriks are the standard for many studios and cable builders. This is really an exceptional piece of engineering, I'm amazed every time how much R&D Neutrik puts in their product. Two drawbacks don't allow me to give 5 stars tho:
1. The plastic cap has sharp edges. I touch it when plug the jack in and each time I'm like 'what the hell?'
2. The jack is not pre-tinned and should be soldered with a really strong flux, otherwise the contacts can break anytime (yeah, that happened to me)

reduce the prices Neutrik
Average quality, but too expensive. The series from 30 years ago were unbeatable at the apex of quality, but these new ones feel cheap and you can tell where their R&D department worked very hard to save production costs and raise the company margins… Shame on you Neutrik!

Practically industry standard
These are good connectors.
I have a cable with annoyingly bad connectors on the end so I decided to replace them with these.
Definitely the cable is a lot better with these on and I recommend doing the same if your cables just lack quality connectors.
