Best update for your Tama chair(not good for round chair)
Great addition to tama chairs! It becomes really comfortable, unloads the back! the only negative, with a back, it is not very convenient to sit on round chairs, because in order to rest your back on round chairs, you have to sit deeper, not in the center of the chair, because of this, the legs become uncomfortable, and the hips rest against the chair! The most optimal solution, installation of the backrest on chairs of the Ergo rider series and moto saddles!

my lower back thinks its awesome.
I bought it to use it with the HT530BC drum throne..
its seriously the only backrest that actually touches your lower back as you play.
it keeps my posture right and if i try to hunchback, something i always do in practice, it pushes me towards so i don't really have a choice but to sit straight and keep my correct posture.
It can easily fold with your drum throne and its easy to move it and take it to a gig without disconnecting it from your drum throne. but even if you want to disconnect it is really easy.....
I love it!!...

My back feels a lot better now.
I had bought this backrest to fit my Tama First Chair stool as I have been suffering from back pain for many years.
Installation was pretty straightforward and I could immediately feel more comfortable on my stool. I really like the fact that it can be folded for easy transport and use the lower part of the backrest as a handle for easy carrying. The only thing that I don't like about this backrest is that it does not move forward enough to fit my back snuggly. I solved this by putting a piece of perspex beneath the adjustment knob to act as a spacer so that the backrest can move forward even more when tightening the knob. Other than that this backrest is great and I can feel less pain in my back.

Does the Job
I have two Tama 1st Chair thrones, one round and one m/cycle saddle shaped with a hydraulic lift. This one went on the saddle, if for nothing else but to make sure it was the right way round when I sat on it. Excellent for leaning back and chugging a beer and supports your lower back when driving into the pedals. Solid build and easy to fit.

Another Winner!
I bought my Ergo Ryder Hydraulix throne a couple of months ago and have now bought the great backrest. It fits easily, performs as promised and just feels like that fine Tama quality build. The support it gives to gel owner back us recliner and helps drive power down the legs and into the pedals. Add to that, the usual high level of tracking and delivery service from Thomann and you will not be disappointed.

Helpful and steady
I had first the stool and then I got the backrest, the difference is very big (now my back is not hearting after 1 hour of sitting).
I use the stool with the backrest for my saxophone training.
