Hard Plastic, very fragile
Although this is a clever design, the materials used in making them is very brittle and all it took was for me to drop mine on (admittedly) a hard tiled floor and the thing broke at the join between the winder and the winder receiver. Cheap, but nasty, unfortunately.

If you want it for bass DONT BUY IT
it doesnt fit on bass tuners and its TERRIBLE PLASTIC QUALITY

you don't really need this unless you re a guitar tech, and if you are, you'll find better quality (more expensive though) and more accurate size for your guitar setting.
