It's a blast
There is barely anything to say that hasn't been said before in countless YouTube videos and reviews. State-of-the-art, high-end interface for your home studio. If you can build yourself a vocal or instrument chain within the UAD Apollo ecosystem, then you will sound the same live and in the studio as well, since the Apollo plugins can run on this hardware natively and give you the exact same sound, no matter where you are. However, if you're planning to completely ignore the UAD plugins, you may have other options as well for less money, as this device is priced for the insane Unison preamps that will adjust the impedance for the device that you're emulating, so it's isn't just software-based emulation, but hardware too. This requires paid UAD Apollo plugins though (which you can often get for peanuts during sales, but still a cost to account for)

Upgrade from Focusrite Clarett Pre 2USB
Upgrading to the Apollo Twin X USB from the Focusrite Clarett Pre 2USB has been a significant step up in my recording and production capabilities. The superior audio quality, coupled with the power of UAD plug-ins and ease of use, makes it an excellent choice for serious home studio enthusiasts and professionals alike. I also bought the Lindy USB 3.2 Cable Typ A/C 1.5m for the connection. At first i was afraid because i read a lot of reviews about the connection between the apollo and the windows compatibility but it was really easy and Universal Audio has everything you want to know. You just need a good cable and a usb 3.0 superspeed.
